Dr. Jarrett Brown

BVSc (Hons)

Dr Jarrett is the owner and Head Veterinarian of Vets in Endeavour Hills. Since graduation, he has worked within busy and varied small animal practices within Balwyn and Templestowe.

During his time as a veterinarian, Jarrett has developed a strong interest in internal medicine, but still enjoys all aspects of general practice. He has also been actively involved in volunteer veterinary work for indigenous communities of Arnhem Land and helps contribute to vet student teaching during these programs.

Jarrett and his wife, Cindy own a miniature dachshund named Frankie who makes up for her small stature with a big personality. Jarrett enjoys photography, cycling and playing indoor soccer.

Dr. Nina Zhang

BSc DVM

Nina graduated from The University of Melbourne and has grown up in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Nina enjoys all aspects of veterinary science and has interests in both medicine and surgery. As a general practitioner, Nina enjoys developing valuable relationships with owners and their furry family members.

Nina has a family cat, Cleo and dog, Quiche, a golden Labrador who loves going to the beach where her nose never leaves the ground. Nina is hoping to extend her furry family in the years to come.

In her spare time Nina enjoys being outdoors, gardening and camping.

Dr Tommy Sung

BSc DVM

Tommy is a recent graduate from the University of Melbourne and is excited to be part of the amazing team at Vets in Endeavour Hills. He is originally born and raised in Taiwan, moved to Canada to complete his undergraduate degree, then finally arrived in Australia to pursue his dream of becoming a vet!

Tommy has special interests in both animal behaviour and neurology, and cannot wait to provide the best of care to your fluffy family members.

Outside of the clinic, Tommy enjoys swimming, playing badminton, and home cooking. Other than English, Tommy is also a native Mandarin speaker.

Dr Kate Luk

BVSc

Kate grew up in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne but completed her vet degree at The University of Sydney in 2016. She worked for several years in a busy inner western Sydney clinic before finally returning home at the end of 2020. She joined the Vets in Melbourne team in 2021 after a locuming stint at Vets in Endeavour Hills, where she realised how well she fit in with the team!

Kate enjoys all aspects of small animal general practice, including medicine and surgery. She prides herself on being thorough and gentle with all of her patients and loves all animals big and small.

Outside of work Kate enjoys going out to eat, hiking, cuddling her cat Bee and taking her second cat Billy for a walk. You can find her dividing her time between Vets on Parker and Vets in Endeavour Hills each week.

Erin Selleck

Erin joined the team in August 2019 and has completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Box Hill Institute. After working in an office, she decided on a career change to follow her life-long passion that she has for animals.

When Erin is not working you will find her either enjoying weekends away, travelling or spending time with her pets; Doug the Dog & Dora the Cat.

Julie Duong

Julie began her nursing career at Vets in Endeavour Hills in October 2020 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2021.

She knew from the beginning that she wanted to work in the animal industry and has not regretted it. She loves all animals but would definitely say she is a cat person & adores the big cats of Africa.

When she is not working you will either find her enjoying a movie, hiking, travelling & spending time with friends.

She is a proud cat mum of 4; Sauce, Hendrix, Chump & Nimbus and also owns a Blue Tongue Lizard named Stevie.

Roschelle Ingels

Roschelle started at Vets In Endeavour Hills in 2020. She has completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and has a Bachelor of Science.

She is a proud parent to five fur babies, two naughty kelpies Hazel and Theo, and three cats Peppa, Pickles and Jiji. She enjoys going on hikes with her dogs, cooking, watching sports, and keeping active.

Casey Mercer

After finding a true passion for animals, Casey completed her Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing in 2017, and hasn’t looked back since. She thoroughly enjoys being a Vet Nurse and all the challenges it brings.

Outside of work, Casey’s household is very busy with 2 young kids, 2 dogs, Tobi and Shadow and 1 mischievous cat, Mia.  

In her spare time, she enjoys holidaying with her partner and kids, arts and crafts and spending time with family and friends.

Tessa Li

Tessa joined the team in 2022, and has started studying her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing at Box Hill Institute. She also has completed a Bachelor of Science.

In her spare time she enjoys playing board games, going climbing and playing volleyball.

Tessa dreams of having an italian greyhound of her own some day, and also maybe a cat or two!

Paige Gorman

Paige completed her Certificate II at Box Hill TAFE and continued her studies at the Australian College of Applied Animal Studies where she completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She joined the team early 2024 and has loved every minute.

When she’s not at work she’s at Monash University completing her degree in Primary Education. Paige enjoys going on camping trips and hikes with her friends, holidaying, or watching horror movies in the comfort of her home.

Paige hopes to have a new puppy in 2025, but in the meantime takes care of her “nephew” Felix, a ginger British Short Hair.
